Robot Wars Champions Bring Mayhem to the Masses
Thrilling New Entertainment Concept
Robogeddon, a thrilling new entertainment concept that brings the tense excitement of robotic combat to the commercial arena, is showcased this week at the Amusement Trade Exhibition International at Earls Court, London (stand number 437).
Designed and developed by three of the most experienced competitors from the hit TV show “Robot Wars” this transportable arena can be set up in less than 30 minutes, making it the ideal attraction for fairgrounds, festivals, corporate events and private functions, as well as for larger theme parks.
Visitors to the stand at midday on Wednesday 26th will catch Team Razer, Robot Wars champions and co-designers of the system, putting their prize winning Razer robot through its paces and demonstrating how to leave the competition standing. All visitors to the Robogeddon stand at ATEI will also be entered into a prize draw to win a radio controlled model.
Heatherton Leisure Park, Pembrokeshire has recently purchased a Robogeddon system, a decision influenced by the appeal of the system to a wide variety of ages. Since its launch at LEGOLAND® in July last year Robogeddon has been in demand at a variety of venues including Crealy Adventure Park, Butlins (Minehead), Chessington World of Adventures and Xscape (Leeds). Robogeddon is now available on a short term ‘plug in and play’ rental basis alongside the revenue-share and long-term rental options also available. It is a versatile business concept with widespread consumer appeal that promises to yield impressive returns.
The four Robogeddon 70kg Cyber-Raptor robots have been designed to the highest technical specification but with the general public in mind – with both flipping and self-righting mechanisms the bots are virtually indestructible and are incredibly easy to control with just one joystick and two buttons that do everything – even children as young as six can compete against the best.
